What does the "kick point" mean?
Kick Point Definitions:
- Low = Low-kick points are ideal for players who take a lot of quick-release shots. They have a quick release because the kick point is located near the blade, which allows the stick to flex quickly when taking a shot. This quick release makes it harder for goalies to track the puck, which results in more goals scored.
- Mid = Mid-kick points are designed to give you the maximum power possible. They are perfect for players who take slapshots or one-timers from the point, and they can also help you score more goals from the top of the circles or in the slot. With mid-kick sticks, the flex point is located in the middle of the shaft, which creates a more uniform bending profile that stores energy for an explosive release.
